Dallas kitchens from 1975 to 2005 have good bones and dated faces
Most kitchens in Plano, Richardson, Lake Highlands and Far North Dallas were built by the same builders in the same few decades. The 1980s and 90s houses have honey oak with cathedral-arch doors. The 2000s houses have stained maple or cherry, a dark speckled granite, and a travertine backsplash laid on the diagonal. The boxes in those kitchens are usually fine. It is the color and the door style that date them.
